In a crazy way, I still feel Pac hasn’t gotten his proper due as an actual artist. The only people that can appreciate or even quantify what his art was were the consumers of it. Pac legitimized Rap music in a way it hadn’t been prior. You get those few special songs that can convey a message or feeling that hits home in no other way. I think as time passes his brilliance in vocalizing the trials and triumphs of a generation will be properly acknowledged but this is just one of the many examples of the type of timeless classics that Pac made.
