yeah tbh Pac was a better lyricist than Big, I know that’s the unpopular opinion on here but:yeshrug:

Biggie had the better flow

But as an overall rap artist who has concepts hooks, and can rap, and production etc combined all together. To make a artist/rap artist Pac is better

Pac was the better lyracist. Biggie easily made the better crossover songs and had much more flow though.

Always been on of my favorites, I can't remember when I first heard it, maybe around 99/2000, but near when Greatest Hits came out. I truthfully don't listen to it as much, because it puts me in a really bleak place, Pac was out of his mind on that one, with anger, paranoia, nihilism, grief and violence. That and "Holla At Me" are two of those kinds of Pac tracks, that are just viscerally upsetting sometimes.

Technically speaking the first verse is the best verse (first two lines with the alliteration was and the last line was :whew:). But I really love his third verse. The frustration and sense of hopelessness in his delivery made it sound so genuine. Pac was the best at evoking emotions through his verses.
