Also since someone mentioned Troublesome 96 I'll say this: it's bs that they edited the track from

Undercover agents die by the random shots

To

Outlaw muthafukkas die by the random shots

The rougher mix of the bootleg also suits the track better than the official release

The original press has the "undercover agents die" line.

The GOAT got so many gems, that many of my favorite Pac tracks are not even on his "classic" studio albums

Staring through My Rearview, Unconditinal Love, Secretz of War (OG), Lost Soulz, Letter to the President, Fame, They Don't Give A fukk About Us, Troublesome 96, Never Had A Friend Like Me, Runnin from the Police

And y'all nikkaz say Pac isn't the GOAT.. Tell me, how many rappers have so many classics as Pac has.. He is the GOAT, easily..

"I will never understand this society, first they try to murder me. then they lie to me, product of a dying breed.."

RIP Pac, you will never be forgetten..

Pac has soo many classics but this one always stood out for me...shyt was perfect that Phil Collins Sample fits beautifully and Pac's two verses are some of his best ever :lawd:

Multiple gunshots fill the block, the fun stops
nikkaz is callin cops, people shot, nobody stops
I wonder when the world stopped caring last night
Two kids shot while the whole block staring

:banderas:

I know nikkas love to playa hate and be on some :whoa: ish when it comes to Pac...but that dude is easily the GOAT and i dont care what anyone one says

My man Yak fukkin murked it aswell

Back in the days we hustled for sneakers and beepers
Nine-six for glocks cause fiends hittin up blocks with street sweepers
Bless myself when knowin rules to these streets, somethin I learned
in school, on some Million Man March shyt for the piece/peace
True that, only one life to lead, a fast life of greed
Criminally addicted, infested since a seed
We all die, breed bleed like humans, towns run
by young guns, Outlawz and truants, shyt's deep
Turn eighteen, burn my will when I go
Burnt my body with my shotty, or chosin my dough
So while you reminiscin all nights out with the crew
Smoke a blunt for me too, I'm starin through your rearview

:ahh:

That song is titled "Troublesome" or "Mr. Troublesome" btw. It doesn't really have much (if any) connection to "Troublesome 96" if I'm not mistaken.

The connection is the song title,Im pretty sure Pac remembers making a song called Troublesome before Troublesome 96,which is probably the reason for the 96,to differentiate it from the original and superior Troublesome 92,or w/e it was supposed to be called:manny:

You could make the same connection for other songs titles too.

Thru My Rearview - Staring Through My Rearview
Untouchable - Uuntouchablez
Don't Sleep - Don't Go 2 Sleep
Don't Stop (The Music) - Don't Stop (Keep Goin')
My Only Fear of Death - Only Fear of Death
R U Still Down? - Are You Still Down?
World Wide Dime Piece - World Wide Stampede
World Wide Mob Figgaz - World Wide Dime Piece

You see where this is going? They merely share similar titles. I wouldn't consider any of them sequels to one another.

Some of those aint Pac songs, and you gotta refresh my memory on which Pac song got the title Don't Sleep,I only remember Don't Go To Sleep off top of my head...and My Only Fear of Death, and Only fear of Death....I wasn't saying they were sequels, the only reason I'm comparing them is because of the song title, and its the same mood:manny:.

Besides "Are You Still Down" and "World Wide Stampede", they are all Pac songs. But I was mainly just using them as examples to show similar titles because he is a featured artists. I could probably dig deeper and find more.

I guess, that's why I would compare them too. Initially I was just correcting the title and trying to imply they probably weren't sequels or anything. Great song though. It's a shame it was never released in 92 along with the rest of the Troublesome album.

This is Don't Sleep:

There is another version where EDI has the first verse.
