Would be a great get for them. I’d keep the team intact sans for an addition or two to help weak areas. McMillan could probably get a lot more than Gentry got out of these group. Even Zo.
I remember when we hired Gentry, I was posting on another forum at the time. I remember a certain member in and I who was also a Pels fan getting into about the Gentry hire.

I never thought Gentry was the right hire for us especially after watching him in Phoenix, Nate McMillan was a name I threw around even back then and dude argued me down talking about McMillan wouldn't be any upgrade over Gentry.

I think McMillan would be the perfect coach for the young talent that we have right now. He has overachieved everywhere he has been and we already have his son on staff as one of our assistants.

Facts, McMillan is highkey perfect for your roster. Barring injury, y’all will be a playoff team next year if McMillan gets the job. Y’all should be on the phone right now frfr.

I thought he was going to survive that loss to the Heat. There has to be some other shyt going on in the background. I like Nate because he gets the most out of his guys. He didn't have Sabonis and Oladipo still isn't 100%. He'll probably take over in DC once they fire Scott Brooks and decide to trade John and Brad.

Edit: Just Brad. Not John lol. No one is taking that contract. :francis:

He doesnt' seem like the type to be doing rails on his desk or hitting thots on the training table. I'm guessing that it is relationship management with the players.

I really don’t understand firing him..

This is a cash strapped franchise in the Midwest that attracts ZERO free agents. What are they really accomplishing by firing McMillan?

They go to the playoffs almost every year but they are not winning a title.

Makes no sense to me..

The Pacers are delusional
What does that have to do with changing the coach if you want to?

I’m surprised they fired him too and if this was just to position themselves to get D’Antoni it’s a lateral move at best, but some of y’all are basically saying keep Nate because this is as good as it’ll get for them. Well they’ll definitely never win anything thinking that way.
