Not his fault. He did the best he could with that roster.

If anything someone should have told Oladipo this isn't 2018 and you ain't the same player breh. Be a playmaker and pass the rock.
Monta Ellis. Puts up stats, but plays a style not conducive overall team success

I thought he was going to survive that loss to the Heat. There has to be some other shyt going on in the background. I like Nate because he gets the most out of his guys. He didn't have Sabonis and Oladipo still isn't 100%. He'll probably take over in DC once they fire Scott Brooks and decide to trade John and Brad.

while luke walton has never made the playoffs yet has never been out of work

Uncertain grounds
the games were actually kind of close until the fourth

Yeah I know, I watched them. The team played well under his guidance and they weren't full strength. I think them getting swept was just an excuse but it's strange that that would be the rationale given they recently extended him

Or he runs an old school style that not only has its limitations, but it’s also boring.

Pacers: #1 in the NBA this season in 2 pointers made, 3rd in attempts, but 29th in 3 pointers made and last in attempts. Last in both free throws made and attempted.

no wonder why they’re interested in D’Antoni.

What does that have to do with changing the coach if you want to?

I’m surprised they fired him too and if this was just to position themselves to get D’Antoni it’s a lateral move at best, but some of y’all are basically saying keep Nate because this is as good as it’ll get for them. Well they’ll definitely never win anything thinking that way.
They’re not winning a title, period..

Nate took them to 4 straight playoff appearances. They acting like they have another level to get to..

They don’t:mjlol:

if management was totally cool with just getting to the postseason, the players are gonna realize that and not stick around which means he’s gonna stop going to the playoffs to which then they’ll fire him anyway. Even if they ultimately keep getting bounced early in the playoffs, if they can doing in a different style, what does it cost them?

:yeshrug: Your best player is a injured Oladpio. Free agents aren’t running to Indiana. Let’s see who they get to replace him.

Him being injured all the time probably makes Sabonis their best player at this point.

The fukked up part is he was hurt this year too. :dead:

And ultimately that lack of continuity is the reason why they can't win. They never really play together because someone is always hurt.
