Why did none of the teams with cap space (like Dallas) sign Bynum instead of letting him clear waivers?

If Dallas wanted him it would still be best for him to clear waivers, any team that picked him up would've had to cover the remaining $6 million on his contract. That's too big of a risk with his knees being so shaky and the fact he'd probably retire if he went somewhere he didn't want to be.

Dallas ain't got NO cap left. He's not playing for the minimum.

Nah, if the Heat were going to cut anybody it would be Roger Mason, their problem is that they actually need Mason now with how many games Wade misses.

They really should sign Bynum, they can't rely on Oden being healthy.

Thunder ain't signing Bynum. He isn't a "character" guy plus I doubt they want any potential Perk/Bynum problems happening when Adams can just keep playing.
