EVERY YEAR a Packer player gets a neck injury and is finished

2011 - Nick Collins
2012 - Sean Richardson (came back tho)
2013 - Jermichael Finley
2014 - Johnathan Franklin

:mindblown: :damn: :wtf: :snoop:

I really, really wanted him last year. I was so happy when we drafted him (consequently, I wasn't all that excited for the Lacy pick, so there's that :snoop:). This shyt sucks man. He seems to have a real positive outlook though (always has, even while struggling last year), so I think he'll pull out of this just fine.

What @FAH1223 said is right though: we have a log jam at the position (RB), so it's unlikely that this will have any impact on the field. Just sucks to see that young man's career end so soon.

Also, I'd like to point out that Schefter didn't "break" anything. McCarthy announced it at his presser after today's practice, then Franklin posted his "retirement tweet" on twitter.
