he feinted with the jab, to lure mayweather into throwing, he has the right hand immediately ready to fire, and moves his head out of the way of any possible shot in case he somehow misses

it's fine boxing, but I wouldn't expect someone like you to understand, unfortunately for maidana it was the only time during the fight he had outsmarted mayweather

Maidana is defensively responsible, because he ducks to the left as floyd throws the right because this the move he setup and ANTICPATED
which causes floyd's right to SAIL OVER HIS SHOULDER, he is completely safe at this point, so even if he misses his counter, there's no way he can be hit

HOW THE fukk CAN FLOYD LAND A LEFT HOOK OR AN UPPERCUT WHEN'S ALREADY IN MIDST OF THROWING THE RIGHT

So, because Brandon Rios has shown MULTIPLE times that he can take power punches in bunches, as well as fight in all out wars/slug fests where defense is an after thought, that means FLOYD can do the same thing? That means FLOYD wont be phased by Manny's power because Rios, who's KNOWN to be able to take alot of punishment, took it?


That makes absolutely no sense at all


Floyd has never shown that ability and everytime I've seen him hit clean with a 1 SINGLE power shot by a power puncher in recent years, it rocked him (Maidana/Mosely)....but yet, you think he takes the punishment from Manny like Rios did and it wont phase him? Let's be serious


Floyd's best ability is to NOT get hit clean or roll with the punch, so it doesnt hit him as clean...taking the sting/effect off of it. When he does get hit clean, it effects him


Bottomline, Floyd is not built to take punishment or fight in fire-fights with a puncher like Manny. You gotta be kidding me comparing Rios' ability to take a punch to Floyd's
