Those aren't combinations. Floyd often uses the left jab to feint, measure, mislead and set up counters. Canelo couldn't figure out which shot Floyd was going to throw next. Instead of throwing the right hook, Floyd threw the uppercut.

Nah man, Manny is an alltime great. If this was even 2 years ago I think it would have been a bigger mismatch, but Floyd's speed and power have diminished. His legs have slowed down as well.

This is the dumbest post I've read in awhile

Actually Floyd's offense was better when Roger had the reigns. Since returning to his father his offensive game has suffered greatly. Plus Roger made Floyd be more aggressive. I think the excessive potshotting may have more to do with him protecting his hands by lowering his punch output.
That could happen. But I think Floyd will utilize a lot of high guard defense this fight. Eventually Floyd will time Manny and counter him. After that, Manny won't jump in with those 8 punch combinations
Floyd has slowed down but let me guess manny as fast as he's always been.

Stawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwpiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

Nah, both have slowed down. I just think it'll be a closer fight than you're portraying it to be

How is it? @ThaGlow is right:ufdup:

It took Maidana only 24 rounds to rock Floyd....you telling me that in 48 rounds against Floyd, a roided up Marquez wouldnt catch Floyd:usure:

:comeon:
LOL ok. We're comparing a young Maidana, who only hurt floyd ONCE in 24 rounds, but has a better KO ratio than Marquez, to a 5'6 aged Marquez LOL. What a joke.

We're comparing the fact that Juan Manuel Marquez never once dropped Manny Pacquiao until Marquez was on steroids in the 4th fight. If a roided up Marquez fought Floyd 48 rounds, he would rock him at some point.

Dont sit here and act like JMM has NO power when he's got 70% of his wins by KO....add the steroids that he's now using to that fact and Floyd would get rocked at some point over 48 rounds like Manny finally did in their 4th fight:ufdup:

You do know that fighting someone that many times increases their knowledge and timing on what you do and when?:mjpls:

Marquez in a 4th fight would Floyd would not lose like he did in the 1st fight when he was dragged up 2 weight classes and Floyd STILL came in over the weight limit for their fight:sas1:

Marquez never dropped Pacman before the 4th fight....you sure about that, breh? Could have sworn he dropped him before that fight. Lol man ur delusional if u think Marquez could have ROCKED Floyd over 48 rounds. Anyways this argument is stupid. Floyd beat the fukk outta Marquez. End of story.

Chambers: Mayweather's Power Will Shock Pacquiao

Heavyweight contender Eddie Chambers is excited with the finalization of the May 2nd clash between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. The fight takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Mayweather has the size advantage and many see Pacquiao as the fighter with the edge in punching power. Pacquiao has not scored a stoppage win since 2009. Chambers is predicting that Mayweather's overlooked power is going to stun Pacquiao enough to get respect early. As the fight plays out in the second half, Chambers is picking Mayweather to dominate the action until the final bell.

"Pacquiao will get in there and he’ll be kind of shocked of how strong Mayweather is and then how fast and how sharp and precise his punches are. Mayweather probably hits a little harder than people give him credit for as well, so he will get that respect. Once Mayweather gets that respect out of Manny, Manny won’t be coming in throwing seventeen punches at a time trying to get to him," Chambers told On The Ropes Boxing Radio.

"It’s just like when Manny Pacquiao fought Marquez, those fights were razor thin and that’s because Pacquiao respected Marquez, not only his boxing ability but also his power. It just looks to me like Floyd Mayweather is favorite and over the course of five to seven rounds, it will start to become pretty one sided going down the stretch."

The speed thing is a wash. If both men slow down but one man was always faster then the other, then this means manny is still slower and he will be destroyed.

You want mayweather to lose on the low. Most latinos do

Manny usually does better against dudes who are taller w/ reach advantage, just sayin'.

I also add in :patrice: because you have to consider Floyd's boxing skill and ring intelligence. Something those other fighters lack.

This fight is starting to look like a bigger mismatch than I thought.

It's gonna be a clear cut Floyd victory.

Might look like Floyd vs Canelo....a boring but clear victory for Floyd Mayweather:wow:
