*Remixes Sippin on Syrup to Sippin on Shakes*

This probably has a lot to do with @LeVraiPapi saying that Floyd is now leaner and his shoulders have widened. He's going through a full cyc.... I mean year with Ariza shakes :sas2:, definitely not the same kind of shakes that can be found at your local Mickey D's, If we get PBF on May 2, I'm going to send this nikka some hate mail and tell him that he should have had these shakes years ago.

After you tell us how ariza is a cheater some more, but first why don't you sing more praises for margarito? :mjpls:

Dan Rafael Chat Wrap 2/27:

Mayweather - Pacquiao news:
- Mayweather-Pacquiao was harder to make than Lewis-Tyson.
- Tickets are not available for Mayweather-Pacquiao yet. They have not done a seating chart or priced seats yet. The seats that are "available" are brokers pre-selling tickets that they hope they can secure tickets (when released) to fill those orders.
- Very likely there will be little to no public sale of tickets for Mayweather-Pacquiao.
- As what usually happens, Mayweather and Pacquiao's camp will be consulted on judges, and then the commission makes the final decision.
- There will be 7 fights on the card, 3 televised on the PPV.
- No confirmation yet if this PPV will be shown in theaters.
- He was told the gloves negotiation was done very easily and early on in the negotiations.
- No word on how much closed circuit tickets will be. Would not be surprised if they were $200. If the closed circuit was as big as it was for Mayweather vs. Hatton, there will be over 30,000 seats sold.
- Believes that fighting each other helps both fighters legacy, even if they lose. See: Hearns, Leonard, Hagler, and Duran. Fight the best and it adds to your legacy.
- Bob Arum and the MGM do not have a good relationship. It was likely one of the issues that had to be overcome in negotiations.
- From those involved, Manny and Floyd meeting at the Heat game wasn't critical to the fight getting made, but it definitely sped the process up.
- Arum and Haymon met face to face at Moonves' house in Beverly Hills. It was critical to getting the fight made. Les Moonves is credited as being the hero in helping get the fight made.

this is what i always thought.... i never bought that this was the key of the fight being made

:trollbron:

Ironically I seen Floyd doing the same with 40lb dumbbells and he couldn't have been more than 140 at the time. :sas2:

edit it was 01 so he was prob like 135.

You alluded to the fact that since Floyd will be weight training with Ariza he would be able to somehow KO Manny with his a perception that his punching power would increase

but that's what you alluded, then I misunderstood
If Boosie Fade Floyd come back I'll change my pic to Floyd by ko :mjcry:

GGG is not weight lifting in that video

I didn't say boxers didn't use weights at all

Weight Lifting is for building mass

which you don't need to do as boxer because the oxygen needed for big muscles will cause you to fatigue early in a fight

also lifting weights is not why GGG has punching power

lifting weights does not increase punching power
Let it go bro.

Lifting weights is a not only for building mass. You can use it to lose weight, build endurance, and add strength if you want. Lifting is more complex than you're making it seem. And sled training is a great strength & endurance workout.

And think about it this way: A strength training regimen, like German Volume Training, can help you increase strength and endurance, which will help you retain power in the later rounds of a fight, which means you can hit harder for longer. That is a functional strength increase.

According to @Black_Jesus, aint nothing in the Ariza Shakes, so there's no cause for alarm if Floyd comes out bulkier/faster/punching harder with much more stamina:youngsabo:

weights in boxing are normally incorporated in traditional exercises you do not need weights to do, but are there to add resistance

they exercises most associated with weight lifting are for building muscle mass, which boxers don't do

You can have strength training regimen without weights at all lmao, boxers have been doing it for 200 years

hitting the heavy bag, sparring, road work are more important to your stamina in a fight, because these are the movements you are actually going to be doing

once weight training and weight lifting, are too different things

start at 1:13... i recommend letting it play through, its a great video of a great fighter.

Yes something that makes up less than 10 percent of the training routine

like I said you are an idiot

when I said they do light lifting

it wasn't in reference to amount of weight Ward was lifting in the picture

IT'S THE AMOUNT OF TIME THEY SPEND DOING IT
