Yep.

Same thing happened to a lesser extent with my boy "Showtime" Shawn Porter:camby:

The Powerhouse was building up a bandwagon, lost to Kell Brook, and then the bandwagon fans left:snoop:
same thing happened to pacquaio after the marquez knock out tho:yeshrug:
they ran on to that canelo bandwagon so quickly it was sickening:mjlol:

it wasnt until manny beat bradley that they felt comfortable hopping back on

this has all to do with someone beating mayweather, when manny loses i promise you no one outside of his fans back home when give a shyt about him on a mainstream level again

Lennox Lewis Breaks Down Mayweather vs. Pacquiao

Former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis weighed in on the super-fight, Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao - scheduled for May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Lewis, like most fighters as of late, is siding with Mayweather to get the victory.

Lewis told BBC Radio 5 live's Sportsweek - "Floyd is the best at side-stepping and movement and he's very quick and hard to hit. Pacquiao is a great guy when it comes to offence and trying to break a person down - he's trying to knock you out, so it's a great match-up between styles."

"I think Floyd has so much talent and quickness, that natural ability to win. It really depends on his heart. Pacquiao has a lot of heart. It's difficult but I think Mayweather has all the advantages, that natural ability and rhythm. Pacquiao, you never really know how he's going to come out because he's boxed differently on different occasions with different opponents."

Lewis himself has often pondered about the idea of coming out of retirement for a major fight. At 49-years-old, he quickly comes to reality and talks himself out of it.

"If I came out of retirement now and boxed Wladimir Klitschko I'm sure we'd make more money because we're heavyweights and command a lot more attention. People love heavyweights," Lewis said.

"I have dreamt about it - then woken up and talked myself out of it. My friend Razor Ruddock is coming back at 51. His last fight was 14 years ago and he's making a mistake. I don't think it's necessary to come back at this point."

Pacquiao's Adviser: Ariza Will Not Affect Us At All
Posted by: Ronnie Nathanielsz on 2/25/2015

By Ronnie Nathanielsz

MICHAEL Koncz, the longtime adviser of Manny Pacquiao, said they are not concerned about the Filipini ring icon’s former strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza now working with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Koncz brushed off the importance of Ariza, who reportedly just signed a new, two-year contract with Mayweather, who described the coach as “a good guy,” whom he was happy to have in his team.

“I hope he enjoys the relationship with Floyd,” Koncz said rather sarcastically, even as he downplayed Ariza’s role. “He is not a trainer, not an expert in planning strategy and he has no effect on us whatsoever.”

He said Pacquiao, who has been training in his gym in General Santos City is “in fine spirits and looking good. Manny knows the importance of this fight and I believe that if he is focused and trains hard, he will win.”

He said celebrated Hall-of-Fame trainer Freddie Roach has already lined up a couple of sparring partners, but he didn’t get their names and they would check them out once they arrive at Roach’s Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles.

FLOYD MAYWEATHER SR.'S NEWEST POEM:

People's been sayin' all along that Floyd didn't wanna fight
But they will all see on that night

Floyd is guaranteed to excite, ignite, and rewrite history
There will be no question or mystery

Manny might have lost his way
After sleeping on the canvas the other day

My son's future is very bright
Manny's looks more like night night

STAY TUNED FOR MUCH MORE TO COME FROM FLOYD MAYWEATHER SR. THROUGHOUT TRAINING CAMP!

Can you read?:dahell:

It says specifically:

*Please note, all weights are listed in pounds.

*For a list of tales of the tapes which did NOT feature their unofficial weights, please visit this list: http://basementgymboxing.blogspot.com/2014/06/list-of-hbo-fights-which-had-no.html

*Most of these come from HBO's broadcasts, with several newer listings from Showtime, as I've never seen them done for ESPN, FS1 or NBC Sports matches. Let's hope they follow suit.

*We are updating to include names hyperlinked to the fighters' Boxrec pages and showing their official weights on the left and rehydration weights on the right. Thanks for referencing our page, and to anyone who links to us. We hope we are useful to you and thank you if you are helpful to us or even interested enough in the sport to stop by.

And what the fukk does Barrera, JMM, or DLH have to do with ANYTHING I posted fool:pacspit:

You said Manny has never been in the ring with anyone weighing over 150.....I proved you wrong like I always do, and here you go moving the goal posts once again:snoop:

@Master Teacher And learn Boxing.....Brandon Rios was at 140 and moved up to 147 against Pacquiao, not Lightweight. Im tired of you ALWAYS making a "mistake"(:duck:) on obvious shyt to anyone who actually follows boxing religously, like you claim you do as well, and then turn around acting like you know what you are talking about in conversations with us:camby:

Another thing, obviously Brandon Rios could barely make 147 because he got busted, by VADA of course (:umad:), for taking diuretics to help him LOSE weight for the fight....so obviously him being "dragged up" does not apply here:camby:
