Another Gold Medal
Castillo has a similar style to Duran and he gave Floyd two hard fights.

but since you're a hardcore boxing fan with immense knowledge you probably already knew that.

and Hagler and SRL are not the best fighters ever lol. They're just better than Manny and Floyd. Simple as that breh.

SRL has a better argument for TBE than Floyd does. :sas2:

Alright..let's rank so we can see what the hell this comedy is all about.

Hagler
Leonard
Hearns
Duran
Floyd
Manny
De La Hoya

Rank them Best to Worst

I'm going to rank them All Time Great P4P accomplishments wise first.

SRL
Duran
Hearns
Hagler
Manny
Floyd
De La Hoya.

Now I'm going to rank them on skills and who would win against the others in head to head matches.

SRL
Hagler
Hearns
Duran
Floyd
Manny
De La Hoya

SRL already beat half that list and Hagler is so big he'd beat everyone else just off sheer size so he shouldn't even be in here, but you named him so I just went with it.

I don't know what the point of all this was but. :manny:

Sugar Ray was still green when he fought Floyd Sr. The only thing that kept Floyd Sr in there as long as possible was the experience he had over Ray. But even then, the gap in talent was pretty evident. Had SLR been in his prime, he would've gotten him out alot sooner

Pretty much.

One of the biggest myths online is Floyd Sr. giving a young SRL a tough time.

Floyd won prolly two close rounds at max and proceeded to get outworked and beat up for the rest of the fight.

Saying Floyd Sr gave SRL a hard fight is like saying Glen Tapia gave Kirkland a tough fight. Yeah it was tough for a couple rounds, but at the end of the day the losers in those bouts got their asses kicked pretty badly.

fukking Ouma/GGG was more competitive than Floyd/SRL.

I named Hagler because he would be facing one of the fastest and most exclusive fighter he ever faced in Mayweather...lol. Speed vs Power..the CLASSIC boxing match up. It's why everyone wanted Roy to go Heavyweight and see how far his insane talent took him. Leonard over Hagler is about as debatable is at gets....

Duran over Hagler all time? No fukking way.

Reasons why I have Duran over Hagler all time is because....

1. Duran has good/significant wins in more than just one weight class.
2. Duran is known as the best lightweight ever.
3. Hagler isn't known as the best middleweight ever. Some will argue Hopkins or Monzon ahead of dude.
4. Duran beat the prime version of the guy that retired Hagler

Even though Hagler beat Duran and Hearns head to head in real life, both of those dudes accomplished more in the ring p4p wise.

Just my humble opinion breh.
We can disagree on that.

I wouldn't dare put Hopkins ahead of Hagler...I think Hopkins would get KO'd by Hagler in the first 10 rounds...it would get to that. There is nothing Hopkins could do to drop that guy:laugh: And Duran was good at lightweight but he got outworked and beat up by Hagler by the end of those 15 rounds...there's no ifs, ands, and buts about it. Hagler showed more heart and knew he had to win that last round to put the nail in the coffin of Duran that night. So we can definitely disagree on that...can't punish Hagler for sticking to one division considering he kept that belt over a decade or so. It was ridiculous.

Hagler would have gotten destroyed if he would have stepped up to LightHeavywieght to fight Spinks.

The fact that a guy (Duran) could start out from lightweight and even go the distance with Hagler speaks volumes.

That's like Terrence Crawford fighting Golovkin and going the distance.

Please, don't bring up DLH. That fool ain't no where in the discussion of all time greats.

Yeah I was pretty surprised dude threw him on that list with the others.

Oscar is more of an Era great. He does have an all time great record of opponents faced though, but not enough wins over them to really be put on that level with the others.

That's cool but that doesn't make him better. DE LA Hoya kept going up but lost when it counted. Duran got beat by Hagler and skated by Leonard in the first fight because Leonard was fighting stupid and got so frustrated in the rematch, that was it. And Hearn beat him in what? 3 rounds? Lol. Damn sure isn't sitting on top pretty as superior to Hagler. That's lunacy.

That's why I made two lists. One to show who's better career wise, and the other to show who's better head to head. Only way you can really look at it.

Duran and Hagler at least belong near each other when we mention atg discussions so one being ahead of the other is cool.
