:russ:@Berto ever NOT being a bum. that nikka has ZERO impressive wins. fast hands and flashy punches dont do anything for me. if you aint got a couple of good wins under your belt, then you aint shyt point blank period.
Basics...its funny when I see ppl mention that manny is all speed/power and can't box when berto is the poster child of that shyt...but ppl have a soft spot for him

Berto makes for good fights. Usually you give nikkas like that a break. Ex: Gatti, Zab, etc...

Leo Santa Cruz is basically doing the same shyt cats bytched at Berto about (Getting huge paydays fighting cans) Difference is at least Berto mixed in some decent names (Estrada, Collazo) while in the process.

nikkas with speed, power, and glaring flaws are the epitome of boxing's unpredictable nature.

to a casual boxing means that you are running from your oppenent. seeing PAC on his in and out shyt is too complicated for them to process.

A draw is the worst possible outcome and would bring everythng to square one:snoop:
Hurts my head already
I'll be making a small bet on a draw just cause I no how boxing is
Remember a judge gave the fight to de la Hoya and one ruled his fight with canelo a draw :snoop:
The odds are too good not to bet a little something on a draw

Most my money will be betting on a mayweather w tho :youngsabo:

Man I don't think hbo and showtime would want to work with each other again:snoop:

Money and exposure talks louder than anything.

With all the fukkery that has led up to this fight, I can honestly see a draw happening. Real shyt. It would be the biggest rematch ever, especially if the fight is competitive/close which I think it will be.

Judges done already robbed Manny (Bradley 1) and they been low key trying to do that to Floyd (Ghost winning 2 or 3 rounds. :aicmon:, Canelo getting a draw on one card. :what: Chino's aggression enough to win 4-6 rounds and force a rematch where he still is semi competitive.

A draw is like the icing on the cake for all the fukkery that has gone on in the build up to the fight. Boxing is a vengeful sport. It doesn't like ugly.

Manny's aggression and combos will win over the nikkas that hate Floyd because he's boring or that he's too defensive, Floyd's accuracy and clean counters will win over the nikkas that favor low work rates, but clean punching. These two nikkas might very well cancel each other out. :mjlol:

Fight will prolly resemble Johnson/Tarver 1.

This is just me speculating though. :manny:

Sounds like everyone involved in the fight wanted to get it done, it was just they had limited power in making this huge fight that when they hit roadblocks they couldn't make moves to force the other sides hand, so they kept "trying" to make a deal, but never really were going to get it done.

It took Moonves to have the power and patience to get everyone together and make each side slowly agree. And once Floyd gave it his blessing it was a wrap.

Roach: “Luckily Roger won’t be running the corner for Floyd”
By Vitali Shaposhnikov | March 3, 2015 | 25 Comments

“Luckily Roger won’t be running the corner for Floyd, his dad is in the corner. I think Floyd Sr. makes it an easier fight for us,” said Roach during an interview with Rappler.com.

On May 2nd, Mayweather Jr. and Pacquiao will both finally cross the ropes and face each other in the ring, ready to leave it all in there for the fans their legacy. Too many things will once again be familiar for both champions: the venue, the crowd, and an endless avalanche of media attention.

One thing that will be different for each fighter, aside from their opponent across the ring, is the preparation that they would have gone through for the biggest fight of their careers. The physical training as well as strategic approach will need to be absolutely chiseled for both boxers, as both are facing a higher echelon rival then every before.

Freddie Roach seems to believe that Floyd Sr. is not a parallel to his brother Roger, who has prepared Mayweather Jr. for most of his artful victories.

“The dad’s not as good a trainer, he’s not as good a fighter. He keeps telling me how great he is, but it takes him 10 minutes to say one word in the corner. Roger is the better fighter, Roger is the better trainer. Roger has more wins with Floyd than anybody. I think it’s a huge mistake getting rid of Roger and going with his Dad. I love his Dad in the corner,” continued Roach.

While it is very hard to believe that Floyd Sr. will have much of an effect on Floyd Jr.’s performance, maybe there is something that Roach has noticed in Mayweather Jr.’s fights that we have not. It is entirely possible that there some little repetition, or a tell, that Mayweather Jr. has developed that Freddie Roach is planning on exploiting.

Nevertheless, seems like roach himself is not too sure that his theory has much pull: “One thing about Floyd, he is a self made fighter. Nobody taught him how to fight. He grew up in the gym, he grew up a fighter, and that’s where he learned to fight,” concluded Roach.

At this point in their careers, it is highly unlikely that Freddie Roach and Mayweather Sr. have much new to teach their fighters. After endless championship fights, and countless rounds, both Mayweather Jr. and Pacquiao are as developed and set in their ways as a boxer can be.

I hope all of them are at the press conference, the fukkery will be at levels never seen by man :banderas:

"but it takes him 10 minutes to say one word" Roach better be careful saying things like this with his condition. It could lead to a comeback he may not be ready for.

The genius of it is that no one can say anything back to him (at least in relation to his Parkinsons) without looking like a total c*nt and getting demonized by the media. Freddie knows exactly what he's doing, the crafty old b*stard :russ:
