And what justification does any person have to vote Clemens in and hold Bonds out?
Literally just the race card
And what justification does any person have to vote Clemens in and hold Bonds out?
A-Rod will never get in no matter how great he becomes as an analyst. Nor should he.A-Rod will get in eventually, so long as he stays on the path he’s on right now.
He’s doing GOAT work upping his likability quotient and that matters a lot.

It was a difference of FOUR votes. And what justification does any person have to vote Clemens in and hold Bonds out?
It’s not about being a great analyst, it’s about getting people on his side to either directly vote for him or rally support to get votes for him.A-Rod will never get in no matter how great he becomes as an analyst. Nor should he.
Clemens had 5 more votes than Bonds. They both should be in but neither is going in anytime soon. Baseball writers feel they're the "gate keepers" of the HOF which is stupid. They say steroid guys shouldn't get in but recently let in players who were suspected like Piazza, Pudge & Bagwell. A lot of them base shyt off of personal relationships with players. And what justification does any person have to vote Clemens in and hold Bonds out?
Don’t be so sure of that. Just cuz Boston loves him doesn’t mean everyone else did. You think NY’s gonna jump out the window to vote for him?Big Papi will get in first ballot tho
Represent racist ass Boston brehs![]()

He did. When baseball got serious with the testing he was tryna get boil injected in him. That more than anything he did prior to 09 is what will cost him. It’s not about being a great analyst, it’s about getting people on his side to either directly vote for him or rally support to get votes for him.
Ortiz is pretty much a HOF lock as a DH despite being a known PED user almost completely because his Big Papi image let him skate.
A-Rod is going to have to wait awhile, maybe even until the eras committee if BBWAA changeover is slow in going, but he’ll likely eventually wear them down... unless he fukks up again somehow, burns his PR bridges, which is entirely possible with him.
That’s cuz by the letter of the law they kinda are. They play moral police because the rules say they can. I think MLB is hypocritical with steroid guys and the fact that Bud Selig is in means you gotta let the bulk of em in.Clemens had 5 more votes than Bonds. Mike Mussina wasn't the greatest media guy either and we see he's still waiting. Writers hold grudges and it's bytch made. And i believe bonds was considered to treat them all like shyt and was labelled an a$$hole

In fairness, I think Bonds earned the hate from the media by never playing the game with them and making it very clear he didn't think they were worth his time. So I know some people were never going to vote for him because of the way he represented the game.It was a difference of FOUR votes.
Everyone has their reasons. The only legit reason is that some voters use their vote to keep other people on the ballot.
I still think Omar Vizquel is a Hall of Famer and today’s number for him gives me hope that he’ll get in.
to me because he was also a steroid using prick.
his ban from baseball will be lifted.
