My vote goes to Paid In Full. Everything is classic. Rakim did step it up lyrically on Follow the Leader though.
My favorite Eric B and Rakim album is actually Let the Rhythm Hit Em.

Lyrics of Fury is still just :wow:

The flow, the lyrics, the delivery and the beat. Can't help listening to that song and without thinking "Now THIS is Hip Hop".

The Wrong Side of the Tracks
You really can't go wrong choosing either, but I'm going with 'Paid In Full'.

The summer that album dropped was one of the best times of my life.

:salute:

EVERYBODY knew all the words to every song on that album

Microphone fiend is my fav song between the two, so I'm gonna go with Follow The Leader.

The OG God MC with two classic albums back to back :banderas:
If he could've kept the latter two half as interesting (the lyricism still remained) as the earlier two, Eric B & Rakim probably would've been one of the top 3 musical duos ever
