Every thread on here about him is dudes roasting another black man because they are relieved that their lives aren’t going as badly as his. Maybe a few have good intentions here but most of it is just a roast session.

When thecoli first started I made the suggestion for folks here to be able to exchange their services for money. Services would include selling beats (since this is a hip hop board), selling graphic design services, web design services, marketing services, tutoring, and maybe even have sports betting on here (to leverage the increased traffic from the superbowl/nba finals). I think it's a brilliant idea as we could have a mini economy on this site and a chance for folks on here to make money.
It's a missed opportunity. Here we have a platform where black men could come together and exchange ideas pertaining to life, dating, finance, career, education, family, etc. Establish online-based, black owned businesses helping one another. But what do we do instead? Gossip about celebrities. Clown one another. Discourage, dissuade, put down, attack, and insult. Obsess over IG models. Post fight videos.

That's kinda where the board was headed, with black people sharing common experiences and advice, and just showcasing talents. That would naturally lead to collaboration. Somewhere down the line it turned into a news aggregation site with suspect posters spamming the board with emotionally volatile posts. Those same suspect posters always seem to have wacky personal life stories that will span years of deflections and "fukkery". It just is what it is bro, if u want black people to link up and do big things together its gonna have to be grassroots. The internet is compromised.

most the trolls & racists, followed us here when we got started..
but, i do agree.. outside of music(not gossip) & sports- this aint the place to really be building like that..
if anyone thinks this site is majority Black folks, i have some beachfront property in Montana for the low..

That would be a good start, but the real future is in collaboration, like hey you write good stories, I'm pretty good at animating or directing, let's make a web series. Or you're a great songwriter but your voice and image kinda suck, I can sing my ass off let's get together. That's how you make truly great and timeless art, not just trying to guilt people into supporting subpar projects just because the creator has the same skin color. But there's a vested interest in us not doing that because that leads to power.
So what do we get instead? A bunch of questionable posters flooding the board telling you that basically you ain't shyt. Not to mention the political shills that say the same thing but if you just vote for this corporately compromised politician they'll make everything ok.
It's really a war for the mind. Watch those posters who push the narrative that black people are helpless victims. Some are government, and some are trying to get into that shaun king, al Sharpton stream of income. Either way they're the real enemies of progress
