I can already tell you’re one of those “too good for” types. If the job ain’t damn near perfect, you don’t want it or if it’s not what you expect, you’ll quit. That’s more than likely why you don’t have a job now.

Honestly it probably doesnt matter how well known he is and youre not really in a position to negotiate. If he really is that well known then the employer would inquire after seeing your last name on your resume. If anything he should be privately contacting the employer then you go interview on your own. It makes you look like you cant represent yourself if you have someone else in your interview with you and additionally, ive never evem heard of that being a thing before
If you have anxiety problems then get a proper prescription so you can handle these types of things on your own
