NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
All about ultra HD ·······Just be patient brehs prices will drop soon once all the companies adopt the team technology
Sharps just came out 3 weeks ago and they have the first model to pass thx certification and the picture shyts on the sony
They gonna be waiting for a while..even tho it is THX certified..the Sony has a higher color gamut...Sony is more experienced with 4K technology...so their next go round along with Samsung is gonna shyt on Sharps..Sharp specializes in really big TVs hence why their 4K is 70 inches..and u telling me 70inches at 120hz is gonna be better than 55inches at 120hz?..nope..the motion is terrible on that TV..this is something I wanted to tell u as well...Sony is also the only one pushing 4k content right now as well..honestly ..it's pointless to get a 4KTV anytime soon unless u like spending bread and having the latest n greatest..all of them shyts is only 120hz right now aside from LG and that one ain't too great...might as well wait for an OLED 4K or atleast for them to start making more of them in 240hz..and that's if u really thirst for it soon..

Yeah, I'm going 1080p, more than 60hz, and lower input lag this time around.
Yea..I would NEVER recommend a 50 inch 720p TV unless this was a Pioneer Kuro or some shyt..which aren't made anymore..if u willing to drop like $999.99..u can get a Panasonic ST series plasma and that's their best TV at 50 inches..it's a smart TV and also has 3D...any size bigger u would go with the VT or ZT series...unless u wanna drop bout 2g's on a 51 inch Samsung f8500...so that ST series plasma would be ur best bet when it comes to size vs picture quality vs features vs price..nothing is beating that..

See..I've seen these TVs bro.. This is my field..lol...that Samsung 4k is nice..but it's not "better" than the Sony...the colors aren't as accurate and the Blacks are NOWHERE NEAR as good..Samsungs blacks are on the blue side of things...not pure..it has better whites tho..Samsung saturates their colors so if u like that than ur gonna think the Samsung is a lil better...the Sony has a more natural color reproduction and a wider color gamut...this is fact bro..not opinion..but what is opinion is whether u like natural looking colors vs Samsungs saturation to make things pop a lil more...this same thing goes for Samsungs f8500 plasma..they saturate their colors more than Panasonic..the Panasonic VT and ZT have more natural colors and deeper blacks..Samsung has the better whites...so some people love Samsungs saturation and some people love Panasonics more natural look..I spoke to a woman who is a graphic designer/artist looking for a 4K TV and she was on some automatic Samsung shyt since her father is an engineer for Samsung...I told her about the Sony 4K and the natural colors and the color gamut..she ended up going to check for herself...ended up buying the Sony cause she needed the natural colors for her field..pissed her father off.lol..but she saw for herself tho..

I want a Panny Plasma so bad. I wish i could get rid of one of these LED HDTVs i have but the losses you have to take on them to sell them are ridiculous. i see people on Craigslist unable to move $1500 TVs for even $750 because nobody will pay decent prices on a used TV.

LED TVs are wack. the dead pixels, clouding, flashlighting, light bleeding, and banding issues are pretty much unavoidable on them. all 3 of my sets suffer from these problems. the 46 inch Sony is probably the best and the 55 inch Sony is probably the worst.

Who in the hell still rides with plasma? :scusthov:
lol @ this anybody that knows about HDTVs knows LED/LCD TVs have shyt picture quality. its part of the tech and you can't get rid of it. clouding, banding. flashlighting, back light bleeding, dead pixels, ghosting, inferior blacks that aren't really black if you buy any LED or LCD TV on the market today two of those will be noticeable and the first one is almost unavoidable. I own 3 LED TVs and all of them have either flashlighting or clouding.

people shy away from Plasma TVs out of ignorance. they walk in a store and see an LCD or LED TV with the back light cranked up full blast and compare that to a Plasma that should be watched in a dim room.

I guess Panasonic dropped plasma because the tech wasn't practical for 4K TVs and the sales weren't worth them continuing making them vs switching to LCD / LED. word is Samsung might be doing the same thing after 2014.

I'm stillpissed they stopped making those Pioneer Kuro joints. My old man has a 50 inch and that TV is flat out amazing.

The VT60 and ZT60 from Panasonic are said to be on the level of a Kuro in terms of quality. My issue is I don't really need another HDTV and it's a 45 minute drive to the closest retailer that has one.
