Some good deals on both, and I know the Sony has amazing lag numbers for gaming, but I also don't care about the 3D features.

which Panasonic? if its a VT or a ZT and you're getting a good deal on it i say buy. that Sony is the best big screen TV set on the market for gaming.

i been looking for a Panny VT60 55'' and they aren't available locally and Amazon is sold out too.

is the Sony the 4k joint? If so go with that...

edit: It's not...go for whatever looks better for the money to you :ld:, but me personally i love borderless screens that adds something to the feel more so IMO then the slight picture quality differences you may get between the 2.

Get the Panasonic, nothing compares as far as picture quality I have an ST and VT60 and both are sick sets for gaming, movies etc... For the price there's nothing even close, just check out the reviews on Cnet.
