Ie. dude earlier in the thread stating I only want kids as an insurance policy. Something tells me a person who thinks that way about kids feels no responsibility to his own family/parents. Like nah, it's wrong to think of your kids as an insurance policy but if your kids don't feel a responsibility to you when you need them, after you've raised them their whole life, after you pass down your estate and wealth to them, somethin' wrong with them

There are a lot of people who can't fathom the thought of good deeds or sacrificing something you may really want to do for someone else

my parents been married 30+ years, no major problems..

on my 30th birthday my pops called me to wish me happy birthday.....he said to me now that you are 30 some of your Aunts might start hassling you to get married... do not get married for the wrong reasons when I married your mom I looked at her and I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her, If you dont feel the same way dont marry that person because it wont last....
I read your post on reasons for marriage and basically it was just for reasons of procreation, and not love..

The thing is I can make much more valid reasons for a person to be married than you can, for someone that is so pro marriage you dont do a good job of selling the concept...lol

I come from a very very good stable background so I find it laughable that people like you assume that because we dont agree with youre one size fits all narrow minded way of thinking were sociopaths...

i bought a female friend a car. she said she would pay me the monthly payments and never did. i paid over $5000 into that car and the fact that she skipped out on the payments killed our friendship basically but i continued to let her drive the car and continued to make the payments well past a year knowing she'd never pay it or pay me back. i did it because she needed a car for her job until she ultimately wrecked it.

that car was in my name. i could have taken it back at any time. i paid the note and insurance on the car. i gained nothing from it, hell me and this person barely even talked after she skipped out on paying me the note money but i still did it.

you probably look at me and think i'm a fool and i was probably. but if you look at that act and call me a fool you're doing it because you can see i partook of an act that didn't serve my own self interest but served someone else's. it was a selfless act i did for the benefit of another person that i gained nothing from. that shyt was a $600 a month expense out of my pocket that i gained nothing from, hell it was money out of my pocket. this is for a chick that wasn't my girl, my fukk buddy, or nothing just a friend i wanted to help get on her feet. even after the friendship ended i still felt like she needed the help and continued to do so.

Between this story and the years of threads on sohh about you declaring yourself an outright loser and endless threads about failed relationships. no payout after all was said and done i still owed $50 on it. i will admit i got puss well before the car though. at the point i bought her that car i wasn't fukking her anymore and hadn't for a long time. basically that was a chick i used to fukk with but didn't anymore but i still stuck my neck out for her because some times people need help.

i'm not relationship material but i chased them around for a long time because society says as a man you should have a girlfriend. i never questioned it just accepted it and tried to do something i'm incapable of doing and that's why all my relationships failed.
