I really feel like there's more to his resignation than has been made public. It's somewhat known down here that dude is a fukkin drunk. Plus I know personally that dude has paid a few chicks off with confidentiality settlements over the past 25-30 years. Papa Jawn has some #metoo stories out there that could get exposed if the right media outlet did some digging.

Anddddd.... It appears I may be right. Was told today that New York Times reporters have been here in town for almost a month working on a #metoo story about this bum Papa John. Was told it has something to do with him paying off his sexual assault accusers by adding them to the company payroll and giving them six-figure salaries for fake jobs. Papa John and other execs caught wind of the fact the NYT's was working on this and planned out a series of steps they'd take as preemptive damage control (Similar to what NBC did when they found out Matt Lauer was about to go down). Dude stepping down as CEO was the first of those steps.

And based on what I heard the assault allegations aren't his biggest problem. It's the fact that he paid them off by putting them on payroll with fake jobs. He could be looking at fed charges.
