Please please let this dude go in as Charles Wright and not Godfather. Gimmick was great but that Papa Shango shyt was good (know I may get clowned for this) regardless of what people try to say. That shyt is no different than what Taker did later on in his career with the levitation, dissapearing etc.

I think that Kama shyt could have worked also but putting him with Taker at that time was going to kill anyone.

I know a lot of dudes are thinking "of course Vince wants to induct a black wrestler under the pimp character " but according to Charles, he and his wife came up with the Godfather gimmick, and even the outfits. So of course he'll have no problem going in as Godfather

Papa Shango is also a major gimmick he had (who could ever forget them curses.... ).....but that only lasted a little over a year, and I doubt most casuals even know he was Papa Shango. Godfather is the gimmick that lasted the longest, that he's most identified with by others, and that's his personal favorite....so if he'd rather be inducted as his best-known character than the lesser-known man behind the character.......then Godfather it is

using the current criteria, which is basically anyone that was semi over and is in good standing with vince, then yea godfather is a shoe in.

but if it were a legit HOF, he wouldn't get in. HALF these guys wouldn't get in.
