Paper straw unappreciation

So I hit up the juice spot for some hangover serum

I go to get a straw and there's these big ass straws that look like hollowed out white cigars

So I go to sip my shyt and I can barely get anything

Spent more time fiddling with the damn straw

People are more conscious about how our "living our best life" lifestyle, even something as simple as using a petrochemical laden straw that takes 300 years to fully biodegrade, will potentially end up in that turtle's throat or nose. I've seen those soggy straws to, but better shiit is on the way that is biodegradable much faster....that's sustainable capitalism.

took us long enough to go in this direction. our need for convenience has been killing the world. truth is there isn't much business sense in doing things the "right" way until we have a conscious awakening like is now happening. many places are banning single use plastics.

Yo this shyt the WOAT, goes from oddly dry to soft cardboard then falls apart in the span of 20 minutes.

I use straws with ice coffee to avoid staining my teeth, otherwise I wouldn’t care.

Same thing is happening with plastic carrier bags around here. Most supermarkets only offer paper or more expensive woven bags these days.
