i don't really have an opinion on them one way or the other. 
the outrage feel a little bit manufactured to me. most of our parents grew up on that paper straw shyt.
that being said i only use plastic in my own house.
also i got my own personal set of stainless steel straws, a very underrated item to own.

Yup and all paper straws aren't the same.
Some establishments said fukk it and changed their lids to the closable spout sippy cup lid thing. I like those better
this the 3rd thread I seen on here about this paper straw shyt and I have no idea what yall talkin bout.....they must no better than to bring that shyt to certain parts of NYC.....

I'm in fidi breh. Daily coffee spot next door made the switch. Those paper straws do no work with iced coffee. Tired of that shyt.
I'd rather use a pasta piece as a straw like they used to do at The Italian Oven back in the 90s.
