Addressing brehs point on how he was able to do such a thing, killers and brehs who didn't kill took advantage of this loophole. Witness did not tell, if there were witnesses, one would go to the PD and get a copy of the report and there would be the witnesses names in the report, and they would get deleted or not show up to court. The folks were literally holding court back in the day.

He said it wasn’t just the cold cases that got him out. He said it was the cold cases plus a reduction of time by either a program or a change in law that got him out. I don’t remember specifically but he’s spoke about it a couple times on podcasts
