Putting Jay-Z in the same class as Big Sean and 2 Chainz seriously discredits your argument. Papoose was a good rapper (emphasis on was) who never grew as an artist and just kinda became corny. But I do agree that most of today's music is garbage. It's stale and unoriginal, and most of the artists making the music are extremely uninteresting to put it kindly, but the state of hip-hop has nothing to do with why Papoose's career has stalled.

I dont think theres anyone on here that could put it any better then this...its a damn shame too. With that being said I'd sadly consider Papoose one of the best rappers in New York right now off his pen game alone, minus between 1 and 5 corny punchlines per song

How the fukk do you compare rappers and completely ignore the rapping part? If I wanted to compare the success or popularity between two grown men then I would be specific about it....but I don't.
