I made it 2.5 episodes in. Once they revealed the gimmick, it was just kinda downhill for me after that. Part of it was my expectations. I was expecting more of a Homeland, Jack Ryan, type political thriller. This ain't that.

This show is my show of the year so far. Had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Idk why but the flashbacks kind of gave me Lost vibes (in a good way of course). I don’t see how anybody could not like this show. The finale maybe could have been a little better. But I mostly only feel that way because I want more episodes NOW.

My only negatives was the FORCED gay storyline with the breh which WASN'T needed + the kids acting dumb.
I like how they had the black characters bossing up on cacs.
My main fear is that the show may go the way of Westworld where they abandon the concept of what made the show unique. Next season has to start with X bringing

already bringing survivors into Paradise and then us seeing how they react to finding out the elites made such as place then also how the people in Paradise react to outsiders. I don't think it's a good idea for the show to turn into The Walking Dead

Honestly, this the type of cliche "twists" that knock the show down from A to B for me.
Soon as it happened, me and my peeps were like ok just tell us whatever contrived bs happened because we're not falling for the finger pointing and the show's gonna move on quickly and conveniently.
Sure enough: that happened.
With that said, episode 7 was a masterpiece. It just was surrounded by a lot of silly Shonda Rhymes style drama.
