This was one of those shows I watched pretty frequently as a kid but I couldn't give you one plot summary of an episode.

Parenthood was more Growing Pains/Family Ties. I only vaguely remember the latter 2, most because of Michael J. Fox character. The family dynamic and stories were exactly the same. Michael J. Fox was basically the same thing as Michael's character on the Parenthood.

Parenthood and Family Matters were both Cosby Show rip offs. That is until Family Matters turned into Happy Days (IYKYK). Then Bernie and Damon came along and took it to a new level.


Most sitcoms are corny and the jokes dont hold up well. Its kinda in the nature of the genre. Everything cant be Cosby. shyt even other lesser but still all time sitcoms like Fresh Prince and Martin had their :comeon: moments.
