This is so sad. :mjcry: I know that family is hurting.

You gotta teach your kids how swim with a regular diaper( it soaks up) and fully clothed when they’re 9 mo-1 year just in case. Kids are really really fast and smart. You can be using the bathroom for 5 minutes and they can unlock the back door , unlock the pool hinge ( which are supposed to be child proof , but kids are smart) and jump in
i read that babies have natural swimming instincts too. So the earlier you start teaching them the better. a person who doens't know how to swim technically just forgot how to swim according to biology.
Most human babies demonstrate an innate swimming or diving reflex from birth until the age of approximately six months

Could never have a pool in my yard. Too paranoid of something like this happening to some kids that aren't my own like my nieces, nephews, friend's kids, etc.

Devastated.

Prayers up to that man and his fam. Can't even imagine. :to:
Teach them all especially if they are the same age. People sleep on swimming classes being absolutely essential to life. In Toronto it's always a few Black teenagers that die in the summer because of not knowing how to swim and they go to the lake or a pool.

Also kids always try to play fight in water. Even as a strong swimmer that is something I hate seeing. It doesn't take much to drown. One wrong hit and you swallowing water or someone holds you down and you toast. But that's the first thing boys wanna do. Flips and practise wrestling moves. I seen a kid try to flip into the pool knee himself in the face while flipping and pass out by the time he hit the water. Dude would have been dead in seconds if nobody was around

Says the idiot playing the blame game. If you know that then your comment was redundant idiot.

Whoever is responsible for watching the kid is to blame

You can spin it however you want...

Now getting off my dikk clown....and stop following me from thread to thread

that shyt sucks

as a parent of a 3 yr old, these kids are curious, dnt kno their limits nor the consequences

my son likes to play in the front driveway, which theres no sidewalk and cars love to zoom around the corner; gotta yell and threaten his hardheaded ass to get from by the road every day

My grandparents refused to even fill up the pool when me and siblings were kids, even though we could swim. I was probably around 13 when they finally started letting us use it.

Poor baby :mjcry:

I’ve heard wayyyyy too many instances of young toddlers dying in pools to ever be comfortable having one if I had any children under the age of 9. That shyt is terrifying.

RIP to the baby and condolences to the family

Teach em to swim, they learn even as little babies..
RIP...

NO Monday morning q.b but
Ideally you'd have your kids comfortable in water at an early age.

This is tragic for that family....I hope prayer works because dang man I hope...they need the strength.
