Possibly. The worst incident that I’ve heard with a pro athlete is when Todd Heap former TE in NFL ran over his baby daughter accidentally in his truck. That story fukked me up.

This is one of those preventable tragedies similar to leaving your kids in the car during the summer.

You gotta teach your kids how swim with a regular diaper( it soaks up) and fully clothed when they’re 9 mo-1 year just in case. Kids are really really fast and smart. You can be using the bathroom for 5 minutes and they can unlock the back door , unlock the pool hinge ( which are supposed to be child proof , but kids are smart) and jump in

RIP to the little angel. I almost drowned as a kid myself. Walking down the steps to the pool and went down one too far. My aunt was right there and pulled me out immediately. I was in the water for like 2 seconds and I can still remember that fear. I can't imagine what that child went through.
