That shyt is cultural, fanatic, but not religious (it's in the name of religion, sure). But, people interpret religion differently. Person A will read the same Bible as Person B and can interpret something very differently. Person A might take it more literally while Person B might interpret it more figuratively.

For example, the Quran doesn't state that women need to cover their faces at all times (just hair/head shouldn't be visible), but in some Islamic countries, that is expected...only their eyes are visible...that's more of a cultural thing and again, based on a different interpretation of the Quran.

Two ARMED cops were executed in NYC by one man...you really think that if someone has an agenda to kill, all that is going to prevent them from doing so? I'm sure this attack was thoughtfully planned for some time now and the person waited for the right day/moment, etc. The government isn't putting up money to protect some journalists...the type of security you're talking about costs a LOT of money.

I'm saying a lot of shyt can be avoided. People know not to text and drive, but still do it, because they don't think something fatal is going to happen to them.
