this is such a stupid news story. all these discussions & thinkpieces about cartoon drawings make muslims look mentally disabled or something.

it would help the extremists' cause if they ever articulated why they do these attacks. "drone attacks in yemen have killed 80 civilians including my third cousin." If they were lay ( non-clergy) people they would respond. Only the monks and nuns are required to be 100% pacifists. There are certain scenario's when violence is permissible, such as your scenario.
