yes, they ARE your people, in spite of their ghetto antics. too often, we attempt to disassociate effect from cause, ignoring what precipitates the behavior that some of us find so appalling. if you have a family member who's addicted to drugs, are you unable to lend support and even understanding to that individual?
though this is on a much grander scale, there's not much difference, is there? our people are under mental and material assault on a daily basis, the likes of which have not let up since we were supposedly freed from slavery. what you witness are the results of that systemic battery.
Here's the thing though. I'm not dissociating effect from cause at all. I grew up in the same type of circumstances that the people in these videos grew up in. Keeping it all the way 100 I still have 2 good friends that kinda act like this. My whole family is like

whenever I fall through the hood and check on them b/c we all know they are doing the same basura nonsense.
If I have a family member that is addicted to drugs I will offer support if they are taking reasonable efforts to extract themselves from the situation and address the issue. If they aren't then no I won't. I don't see the point and I don't want to put my energy into people with no serious interest in bettering themselves.
I even understand your point about systemic battery and its foolish to say the scales aren't tilted against us. At some point you have to open your eyes, assess the situation, and get your life going in an advantageous direction. What are we supposed to do breh? Just complain about the system and keep acting silly as hell?
Thats why I said ADULTS who are about that bs are not my people

. The children are a different story. However, if you're 25 years old arguing with security guards

, threatening people

, and out here acting like wackjob you are not someone I identify with

.
