For the bar? Honestly get either Themis or BarBri, or one of the other commercial programs, watch all of the videos and take notes, follow along on the initial practice questions - and use flashcards at least an hour everyday.

I didn’t feel that confident after the exam, but judging from my score - i passed by a good margin so I did something right.

Essays are the same as for law school, as well as undergrad. Introduction, rule, analysis/application, conclusion. Analysis should be the bulk of the answer, make sure to mention the rule for the counterclaim, and why it’s reasonable, snd then your reason for not following that application.

Consistent practice everyday will carry you through.

Not incredibly *difficult* but requires a smooth 10 weeks using bar prep software for 35-40 hours a week consistently.

And absorbing most of the information.

Definitely would hate to do it again, but I understand how the process works now.

Yeah I took both Missouri and Illinois. After taking the Illinois bar I don’t wanna take another damn bar exam.
