You can easily see if someone is running a fever by putting your hand to their head

If they're experiencing fever, they are symptomatic, and you don't simply "touch" someone you suspect of having ebola.

Ebola causes fevers of over 101 degrees, with vomiting, severe stomach pain and muscle weakness.. it would be painfully obvious if someone was suffering from symptoms of that nature... did you see the guy walk off at the end? He looked 100% healthy

Nah, I haven't watched the video but that's not a chance you take with something this virulent. Every precaution has to be exercised.
Granted we believe it to be only transmissible when symptomatic, you still don't take that risk.
