Yes, Berlin is mostly famous for it's electronic music scene. Not sure which clubs you went to, but thursday through saturday, you should have no problem finding decent spots for other types of music as well. Sunday to Wednesday you're probably right, there is mostly electronic music, since the in-crowd starts partying on sunday afternoon to avoid the tourists who flock to clubs over the weekends.

Breh..disco house, deep house, electronic, etc music is big over in Europe especially in France and Germany. Ain't like you was in fukking NYC or LA, you on a different damn continent.. should've popped a few pills or got a few drinks in you and enjoyed the wave.

I got so fukked up in Berlin that I had a nosebleed for three days straight afterwards. Good times.

On a Monday thru Wednesday night I'd probably check out regular bars and beer gardens. It seems like you can meet a lot of people that way.
