They barely separate themseles only FBA some of the London Bruvs, and some of the West Indians see all Black people as Brothers and Sisters like that. They kinda understand the concept and they know especially in Africa that that is what you want to hear but they don't really see it that way.I mean from my experience abroad, they Don't really view us like that. Once you land in any of these places you are simply an American. All your behaviors and annoying hijinks are simply pegged to you being another American tourist. As a nationality, we honestly don't have a good reputation.
I think Russians and Brits are the only nationality with worse reputations than us.
I've even brought up the whole black/white thing abroad to locals in many countries and I've got nothing but confused looks from them cuz they really don't separate us. those are just mindsets we take with us when we go out there.
It would be like you telling an Indian traveling to America that indians have no chill with women, but him replying that "it's only a lower caste problem". Obviously, you don't give a damn about the caste system in America cause you see all the Indians as one big group.
Only in america is there extensive study of the slave trade. There's slave ports in Africa and if you said that your ancestors were taken out of one of them they'd low key evny you.
In Latin America they'll show movies and TV shows with slaves in them and theres a cognitive dissonance about it.
This would never fly in the states:
La Bruja (TV series) - Wikipedia
My girl in Africa loved it. My girl in Colombia never saw it but doesn't see the problem with the concept.
The average Black person outside of the states would make Larry Elder sound like Malcolm X.
