Or stay out of shady areas. Simple solution. The ones talking bout "he shoulda had a credit card" ain't probably never been somewhere shady.
I've been to shady places in different countries.
You have a choice. Travel light with your shyt hid on you, ready to give up what you're willing to part with. Or travel light, and not have anything to give up.
I'm not going to tell the stories in this thread.
1. I know someone that was killed and robbed in Columbia. Dude had his full wallet on him, they hit up all his cards. In fact that's how they found out something was wrong. Whoever got him used a card that was basically for emergency use only. When his parents got a call from the credit card company saying the card was being used, they knew he was out of the country and was like he probably needs an emergency hotel or flight or something. But the charges weren't adding up, they weren't emergency uses. They tried to reach him, long story short he was killed. And his cards were being used.
2. I know someone that had their money hid on them and when he got searched and they found more, and they robbed him for double (more than double). Basically they got stopped and told they couldn't be in a certain area, were told they could pay a fine and leave or go to jail. One of my boys opened up his wallet, had $40 American, they took $20. Went to my other boy and he was acting funny so they searched him. Dude had like $500 in euros. Took all but like $100.
3. When I was in Mexico some fukks tried to hit me with a "street fine". Having known better I was like " No dinero. No tengo dinero" they just
and figured they were hassling some broke boys and left us alone. There was really no arguing when I pulled my pockets out and opened my wallet that just had an old condom, my id and some school id.
You gotta know how to move in different countries. You can't just be leaving your shyt where you stay (that you aren't willing to lose) but you can't carry all your shyt with you like a square, that's how you get robbed.
shyt, I have a story, stayed in France rented a room with 2 of my friends. Had all our money stashed, went out. Stumbled in almost a day later...They rented the room to someone else...almost 4k lost. I'm saving that story for my biopic though.

Not having $100, when you're supposed to be some world traveler is inexcusable.
Traveling channels are the new gold rushif buddy can get a little following my ass needs to make a Youtube channel

Not a single word of this pertains to this story..The ones talking bout "he shoulda had a credit card" ain't probably never been somewhere shady.

My reply was to those saying "he shoulda had a credit card! How does he not have a credit card!"Not a single word of this pertains to this story..
Breh it definitely would have mattered. You keep your money, wallet and cards in the room safe and only carry enough cash to walk around a few hoursMy reply was to those saying "he shoulda had a credit card! How does he not have a credit card!"
It wouldn't have mattered if he had a credit card with a $50,000 credit line, he was moving like a dummy, cuddled up with prostitutes sleep, taking videos. Leaving them in his room while he went and got food and shyt.
There's no successful scenario or alternate timeline where he makes it out unscathed.
Missing your flight can happen to anyone.
I don't think anyone travels anticipating that they will need extra money in case things go wrong. Maybe some do.
But more than that, I don't think many people travel to another country when they have less than $100 to their name.
Plus, doesn't he have any friends? Family? Coworkers? ANYONE?
It's $100. That's 4 people dropping you $25 on Zelle. That's not ...it's just baffling to me.
You are calling him broke, I am calling him dumb. Either way he's fukked. We are saying all the same things but your saying "he came with all his net worth and didn't have money to eat".Breh it definitely would have mattered. This man made this shyt after going to the airport. A credit card would have definitely saved him all this trouble. It’s not like he got robbed. He just came with all his net worth and didn’t have money to eat.
That ain’t the danger of the country. That’s broke nikka problems
