My only gripes have to do with his sources of income, but I loved Saigon the most out of all my travels in SEA.

I've met plenty of foreign women in the states. It never really went anywhere because they were in the US for a limited time.
uhh... if you do that ironically it will more expensive than dealing with american women if they and you are on timing because you will be buy all kinds of things.
What you want is to meet middle class women abroad who generally like you and like US culture.

That being said he could get a similar apartment in Cali for 550 a month and since he's been there for 6 years and speaks at least some Vietnamese I guess he's not being over charged. a cup of joe costs a little more in Cali but the dollar dropped against the Peso
