If that’s the case, a LARGE part of our community has a mental problem. And since you’re on social media everyday, you clearly know one of the causes of those problems is this music because it’s blatant.
woah woah woah …you just did a circular argument …. Now you just inferred that he’s influenced by the music because he has mental illness …now you’re saying he’s mentally ill because of the music …how can it be both at the same time :jbhmm:

People talk about how rap has influence on culture and then turn around and deny it has any influence when it pertains to something negative :francis:

When things go gravy:

"Yeah! I'm the hood preacher! I made real nikkas who sell dope try to rap! I influenced brehs with this new fashion!"

When the Feds come through:

"Excuse me officer, but I have my 1st amendment rights! I was just reporting what I see on a daily basis. I dont know of any crime on a personal level. Please don't lock me up." :hubie:

Im not gonna keep going back and forth. You clearly see that the majority of us in this thread know what it is. There are very few in here that don’t understand

this makes no sense because we are trend setters.

a more appropriate statement is we set unrealistic/outlandish standards in every faucet of our lives.

and social media done exposed that on a grand scale.

To make it worse these trends are either straight up created by white people or just so happen to always line their pockets.

European fashion designers, auto manufacturers, jewelers, plastic surgeons, major record labels, non-black owned liquor brands, even the prisons

Thats a whole economy based on black people's ignorance and short comings.

But i don’t think anybody is saying it’s only the music. The problem is, the music definitely plays a part and is something that needs to be done away with.

Your parents, being born into poverty, and in some cases critical thinking aren’t things that can be changed (immediately) but the music can.

And on to the poverty thing; who is out here killing to eat or for a roof over their head? They’re barely even robbing over money or drugs anymore. They’re killing over words, a woman, what “block” they’re from, MUSIC, or just to kill. The poverty excuse has to stop too…

Cats really think that the outside population is stupid, and using the same talking points from the 1980s NWA days thinking that everyone is some isolated white suburban resident in the pre-social media era.

Yes...after listening to Ready to Die and Reasonable Doubt in JHS, I too began to sell crack and bust my gun indiscriminately

Pat Bev is the point guard pass around of the NBA

That's why his ass was crying last playoffs for making the play in, because that hoe thought that he'd finally become a housewife :camby:
Not everyone is you, a lot of people are stupid as fukk and legit get influenced by the music they listen to and media they consume. Also keep in mind, a lot of people are followers

Maybe if his father was an actual role model to him and not a flunky “entourage “ member he wouldn’t be looking for validation from other men thru “drill raps” …I know other people don’t have this problem …LeBron listens to the same music ..why is it only the case with nikkas like JA :francis:
And Bron is from Akron and didn't exactly live a privileged life

Ja fronting and trying yo live out street nikka fantasies and people out here trying to blame it on the music.

The problem is JA

nikkas like Ja are fascinated by that lifestyle and think that’s what a black man is supposed to be like

Even posters on here, act like they wannabe Tupac in a Business suits because they in the IT threads bragging about making 200k a year, and then in another thread talking about being outside 24/7 and being socialite clout demons hanging out with "real nikkas" and "bad bytches" :heh:

dude literally blames his parents (mother and grandmother) and movies for wanting to be a drug dealer. but you have people on the coli saying only rap influences.

If rap didn't exist he still would have been on that shyt.

Just because I have a certain experience, doesnt mean I cant make the assumption that a coli suburbanite was influenced by music, and not their actual life experience. But of course it would just be an assumption:manny:

My own assumption is that Ja probably been hanging out with other rich young nikkas in memphis. And its doubtful the young black doctors, lawyers and heirs are hanging out in those clubs. Other than his teamates,he probably is around a bunch of rich young rappers. He is probably getting alot of love for being the hardest cat hooping in terms of play. He probably just feels like hes "reppin" for them and has taken it too far. No big deal really,he hasnt done anything to cause all this commotion really. I get people wanting to stop it before it escalates further. But cats was doing way worst in the old days:mjlol:
