Lebron was telling theheat to draft Shabazz, avoided all of riley's calls and emails, and avoided him at Wade's wedding. Lebron acted like a passive aggressive coward. Riley is old school; you dont let shyt slide like that.

Here's the thing Riles told LeBron to suck his dikk, but why would he draft Mapier to appease LeBron when all he had to do was let LeBron's flunkies run free?Bron was playing chess.
He knew what he was doing, and he purposely lead them on to sabotage their squad so they couldn't reload quicker. Riley was making moves thinking he was putting pieces around Lebron. There were other FAs available that they could have went after immediately if they knew Bron wasn't coming back.
Imagine if Bron gives them the heads up and Riley switches gears and goes after Lowry and Pau etc... instead, they have complimentary pieces for a main piece that's no longer there. They still came up with that Dragic deal midseason tho.
EDIT: Bron says, Napier's his fav PG in the draft, the Heat draft him and Bron picks up his shyt and leaves, lol

Teams that are so insecure that they live in fear of appeasing their star player aren't the type of well structured organizations that win titles. Same way an army does lead a successful campaign of all its heads are worrying about getting theirs as opposed to getting it done right. You're dead on about that chain of command stuff. If James is prioritizing his high school clique getting perks over all that other stuff and worrying about being popular in the region, he lost already. Not even as a heat fan, but just as a sports fan, that's why I think it was the wrong move going there. It'd feed into his worst habits in my opinion.meh at the end of the day I think there has to be a clear chain of command within a franchise for it to have sustained success. Lebron doesnt want that...so we'll see what happens I guess. If he wins a title in Cleveland Riley's critiques wont matter.

I doubt he realized this. Tried to get spo fired early and spent all 4 years talking about how he didn't like being booed and having fans cheer him on the road was nice before joining the heat. Sounds like someone who is prioritizing the wrong things. You really think this was of higher priority than the quality of the team and room for development or growth in the near future (with him on the roster)? If he had 08 D. Wade and thusly 3 straight rings there is no way he leaves MIA. He had to know that he wouldn't have free reign when he went down there and he still went.

That ain't playing chess. That's simply bytchmade. There's a reason nobody respects a mole.

Disappointed. Grown men shouldn't act like females. If anything I'm surprised we got a few years of grown man behavior out of the guy.
He treated Bron like a son, nikka lied to his face and you think an OG gon let that slide?
He ain't crying about it, he's warning nikkas he coming for that neck, no homo.
It was all good when he did the same thing to go to Miami though. Riley acting like a scorned ex
