Alcorn QB play has been amazing for the last two years.

True, he gets paid. However, just to see him move to a skill position and not the position he accustomed to is disappointing.

Most important thing is that he knows the offense and RB assignments. Weis Jr is the OC/Qb coach, so Offensively were in good hands.

Last thing that might be equally important, simply having good coaches on staff regardless of what position they played and/or coached.

I cant wait to see the offensive schemes these guys come up with.

Plus maybe a few Clemson transfers over the nx few yrs.

1 more thing...Weis might not even be here long. Dude has put in a lot of work over the last few years.

Pat White might be nx up! And that rolls into making sure you have good coaches on your staff.

Kids definitely knew who he was and if they didn't their parents did. It definitely helped Alcorn recruiting. Having names like Pat White and a McNair on staff held a lot of weight.

As for him being a RB coach, just give him time. Dude is a stickler for detail and was firm but fair with the QBs. Their success shows he was knowledgeable

I think he's a guy to watch in his coaching career. He's off to a fantastic start
