I absolutely loved firestorm in previous seasons and painters glove interaction with mages. Now with all the exposures being combined, I can now have a universal exposure on people making painters glove WAY MORE viable than it was before.
For those who do not know, painters glove splits all elemental damage equally into fire, lightning, ice. This means no matter which element your spell is, it will hit all 3 relatively equally. With the changes to ignite basically being guaranteed now after a few hits, all status effects having a base duration of 8 seconds, up from 2, and exposures being wrapped together, mages just saved like 30 skill points MINIMUM.
On top of all this, they remade firestorm. It may seem like a nerf at first but if you going painters glove, its actually an insane buff. Damn near 3 times the fireballs, status effects galore, way bigger zone, etc. Prior it only got damage buffs from consuming ignites, which was EXTREMELY hard to do.
I am fixing to have a blast on a fire mage.

Just started this game last week and I’m hooked. I decided to stop in prep for the new season. I wanna do the chaos lich again but I want something that will get me through the campaign as easy as possible.
The sheer amount of changes (sprinting being one) have me open. Between this and Battlefield 6, I might be completely fukking useless to the world this fall, winter, and beyond. I'm eagerly awaiting tomorrow's drop.

Anyone trying the new league and druid?
Been playing for a bit. If you plan on neglecting spell abilities, Druid is just like any other melee class. Trash at the start but ramps up quick.
They nailed the gameplay tho, shyt is fun as hell. Running a Druid maining the wolf form is a blast.

I'm probably going to try the wolf form too. I like the cold/freeze focus.
I watched someone played a gardener build and that looked really fun too.
This video really got me back on board after feeling underwhelmed a bit during the first reveal stream.
I have never had an easier time in my life than warrior early game.
So long as you have a decent weapon, you will 1 to 2 tap everything. The only problem being the stupid blood pools at the end of chapter 1.
Monk feels HORRIBLE THOUGH. lol
