The open mic is a scene he was in, being some of the best in nyc held a certain prestige, and you typically hung out with the regulars, cuz y’all grinded together, plus dudes that would push you to be better, but if you watch him on tough crowd he literally would challenge white norms and shyt that would make white folks uncomfortable, also when he was on that show with rosanne and buddy from full house he literally laid it out, he was on opie and Anthony because it gave him a venue he could operate in and be comfortable perhaps ( i don’t know just speculation, no one knows) but Patrice strikes me as a loner and you only got what he chose to show the general public, so he’d go work at the open mic, shoot the shyt afterwards, drink, eat, then go home

However seeing never seen before material and the fact that it was executive produced by Bill Burr should have a tinge of Patrice's principles.

Patrice and Von were swingers. Patrice felt like it would have been hypocritical of him to smash other women, which he wanted to do, and not let Von do her own thing.


And I don’t know how many times we have to say Patrice used his platform to defend black people and roast these racists like no other.
