It's because women don't know what they want. They are ruled by their emotions. On paper a softer man sounds good so she can understand him better but women are subconsciously and naturally attracted to hard men (pause). They can see a man that turns them on by his demeanor but women don't have the self analysis to understand the how or why. This is why they go for playas when they request men be nice.
