Point wasn't that Peyton is better than Tom (He's not). Like you said, people like to ignore the failures you pointed to.

defense vs Indy Peyton kept him in check until 2006. Only 2 of his playoff Ls came to Brady. No excuses for the rest. He consistently came up short in the playoffs.
