Nothing happened. He is terrible like he always has been. Coaches and GM's know they can't depend on the defense to shut the other team down while Tebow plays like shyt for the first 3 1/2 quarters.

Tim Tebow only played quarterback after joining the New England Patriots, despite expectations he could take snaps at tight end. Tebow doesn't plan to try out any other positions any time soon.

TheMMQB.com's Peter King reported Thursday night on NBC that Tebow received an "inquiry" from an NFL team about possibly trying another position, but Tebow wasn't interested. Tebow reportedly also received some interest from USA Rugby in changing sports . That's not happening.

It's hard to knock Tebow for his unwillingness to change positions. He hasn't made it at quarterback, and there's little reason to think he could succeed at another spot. Tebow tipped his intentions after the Patriots released him when he wrote on Twitter: "I will remain in relentless pursuit of continuing my lifelong dream of being an NFL quarterback."

Looking at this realistically, Tim Tebow could play TE or some varied RB role and make say $800,000 a year. This would include wear and tear on his body, possibly not being that good at the new position which brings on more criticism, etc etc.....

OR

He could hit the public speaking circuit, appearances, or a host of any number of other things and clear a couple million a year.

Prtty easy to see what the best choice is and why he's probably bent on being a QB or notthing at all.

He could try WWE as a good guy character because of his current image. He can garner a big fan base. The more goody-two-shoes he is, the more bad the bad guys look. It's a win-win situation for all.
