Howard should have looked back, but Jameis waited too long to get going. Crushing defeat that will likely come back to haunt them.
I can't really blame any QB in a last second throw scenario where they have to get a TD. Its nearly impossible outside of flukes.

But yeah the difference between jameis in the first 3 quarters and the 4th was hilarious.

He had 107 yards and 0 tds entering the 4th quarter and was missing throws.

He finished with 334 yards 1 TD and was lights out the whole 4th. :pachaha:

It was one of the weirder turnarounds ive ever seen

They gotta speed up OJ's development. He needs to figure out how to effective in the redzone. Patriots showed that if you get physical with him you can keep him in check.

You can put the blame on the players all you want and they deserve a lot of the blame but the game was lost the moment the coach decided to go for an onside kick.

You had a timeout and two minute warning. You kick it deep, get 3 stops and get the ball back down 2 at around your own 35 yard line with 1:20 to go. You have plenty of time for a td or you give your veteran kicker another chance, hopefully with a chip shot under 35 yards.

I honestly think we need to run hurry up more and incorporate more short crossing routes into the pass game, we got a gamebreaker in Jackson, but we only throw him deep passes, I wish we'd use the slant and some rub routes to get some quick hitters to him.

I give Howard a pass cuz he's a rookie, but if the wanna use him to his fullest, I'd kinda try to turn him in to that H-Back that you can line up anywhere on the field. He's a real good run blocker, so you can line him up at FB to lead block and you can have him run routes from it when you have Brate out there. You can put him out wide and he'd bully corners out there. They gotta get creative with him.

Winston has the tools, but he still suffers from trying to get everything on one play, I wonder if calling all the deep passes kinda forces him to hold it and wait for something to open up, rather than just taking the checkdown. We need to run that NE playbook, they were dicing us with short routes all day and forcing mismatches throughout the game.

In terms of blame for the game:
1. Folk - :camby:
2. Brate/Winston - Winston took to long to get going and when he finally got in rhythm, Brate started dropping catches he usually makes. That TD drop had me like
:mindblown: cuz it lead to fukkery right after it.
4. Evan Smith - Brate drops the TD, on to the next play. Winston scores on the roll out, but it comes back cause he had hands on the defender's face when he didn't need to, that pushes us back 10 and y'all know what happened after that. Lookin' at you Folk :rudy:
5. Koetter - He got away from the run game too early and still coaches scared to a degree.

The defense surprised me cuz for all the shyt they were giving up, they didn't break once the Pats got into the redzone. :salute: to them

Offense still goes through weird ass spurts where they can't figure out what they want to do.

I feel you, but with how our defense was so Jekyl and Hyde and everybody was fukkin' hurt, it was a toss-up that the defense was gonna get that stop. But the defense held it's own, so I can see where you coming from.

Breh was a great kicker at one time.

Literally one time. He went from making 90% of field goals with us to 60% when we cut him the next season...

I still remember being :martin: when he went to the jets and they went to back to back afc championship games and it seems like he was ALWAYS putting them up 3 with 1:18 to go or some shyt ...
