Im saying it wasnt an actual person waiting until there were 999,999 followers and then clicking the follow button.
it was a script, sitting and getting follower number from APIs, and clicking 'follow' from multiple offensive accounts automatically to avoid race condition in which he'd lose to innocent account. ie, it was a bot.
