Pattie just seems like the type to get bored.
Sans that, god forbid this dude ever looked twice at another chick. A woman with Patti's money just has zero incentive to put up with bullshyt some men be on.
Same deal with Anita Baker. Wouldn't be surprised if Beyoncé divorced Jay either. When resentment meets ego and a multitude of resources to live a lavish life off the strength of ur own income, u less likely to stick it out if u ain't feeling it.

Basically. There should not have been a second or third proposal. If a woman doesn't want to marry you, bounce. There's nothing else to discuss. If she wanted you, she would let it be known.
No dude should ever go into a marriage proposal wondering if she's going to say "yes" or not. The proposal should be a formality. Something to make her feel good. But by the time the proposal comes, you should already know a chick wants to marry you because she would have told you so.
Sounds like dude was not her top choice. That fourth time, where she asked, sounds like she basically confirmed that he was the best option for her at the time.
